The Art, Beautification and Culture Award, also simply referred to as the ABC Award, is awarded annually for projects completed in the previous year that enhance the Bend community's visual, performing and literary arts; residential, business and governmental beautification efforts, and multicultural events, organizations and historic preservation and promotion.
The City of Bend Art, Beautification and Culture Commission is currently seeking nominations for individuals, organizations and businesses who made significant contributions to the celebration, promotion, beautification or preservation of the City's arts, culture, natural environment or public spaces in 2009.
Award consideration will include residential, commercial and governmental beautification projects, multicultural and historical cultural events and programs, visual, performing and literary art programs and products.
