Oregon Statutory (ORS) Certifications • We Hereby Certify that we will and that our subcontractors will, acknowledging that our employers will be subject employers under the Oregon Workers' Compensation Law, comply with ORS 656.017, which requires contractors to provide all workers with compensation coverage. • We Hereby Certify to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wage in conformance with the provision of ORS 279.350. • We Hereby Certify that we are a "Resident Bidder", as defined in ORS 279.029.* * ORS 279.029 in regards to preferential treatment reads in part as follows: "In determining the lowest responsible bidder, a public contracting agency shall, for the purpose of awarding the contract, add a percent increase on the bid of a nonresident bidder equal to the percent, if any, of the preference given to that bidder in the state in which the bidder resides."
• We Hereby Certify that in all cases where the contract calls for work as described in ORS 701.005(2) (i.e., construction work), certification by the "contractor" that we are registered with the Construction Contractors Board in accordance with ORS 701.035 to 701.055. • We Hereby Certify that all of our subcontractors performing work as described in ORS 701.005(2) (i.e. construction work) will be registered with the Construction Contractors Board in accordance with ORS 701.035 to 701.055 before the subcontractors commence work under the contract. • The Recipient of this purchase order warrants that each Hard-Software, and Firmware product delivered under this agreement as "Year 2000 Ready" shall be able to accurately process date data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) from, into, and between the year 1999 and the Year 2000, including Leap Year calculations, when used in accordance with the product documentation by the above purchase order recipient, provided that all products (e.g., HDW, Software, Firmware) used in combination with the product/products listed on this purchase order properly exchange data with it. This warranty shall extend through June 1, 2000. Official Exceptions to the above Certifications.
