Communications & Public Information Division

The Communications & Public Information Division is responsible for informing and educating the citizens of Bend about City Government services and activities and promoting a positive image of the City.  The Division releases information through the local news media and releases can be viewed on the City's web site under MEDIA RELEASES.

The Communications & Public Information Division also maintains and updates the City's web site as well as produces publications such as the WELCOME BROCHURE and other informational materials.

This Division is also responsible for the monthly OUR CITY  citizen newsletter, utility bill messages, scheduling staff and topics for the Good Morning Central Oregon program on the 4th Monday of each month (COTV Channel 11 at 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM). 

CITY EDITION  is an informative news program which spotlights the city's services, projects and operations and is produced by the Communications Division with Videographer, Scott Nelson. City Edition can also be viewed on COTV Channel 11 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:30 p.m and on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. or downstairs at City Hall.

The Communications Division also houses the OFFICE OF NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS . The Neighborhood Coordinator provides support to the Bend's Neighborhood Associations.
