METERED WATER SERVICES
Metered water service is based on the amount of water (consumption) that actually goes through the meter. The meter is read on the date the water service is started. Thereafter, based on the location of your home and the route you are on, your meter is read once per month.

Your initial bill may not cover a full month of water. This depends on when you start service. The initial bill will include the minimum base rate and consumption charges over the minimum, from the date you start service until the regular monthly meter reading.

SEWER SERVICES
For metered water customers, the sewer charge will be billed monthly. Residential customers are billed a monthly flat rate. Non-residential sewer charges are calculated based on a winter-quarter average (the average water consumption for the six winter months, October to April). Irrigation water is excluded in determining the winter-quarter average.

The City offers reduced sewer rates for senior citizens over the age of 62 and disabled persons. For a reduced sewer rate application, click here. If you have any questions, please call 541-388-5515.
