EVENT APPLICATIONS

Sponsors of events open to the public on City or public property with an expected attendance of 75 or more must submit an Event Application form. Click here for a copy of the form.  Sponsors must call the Bend Police Community Liaison, 541-322-2976, to discuss details of the event including but not limited to safety, traffic and crowd control, ADA compatibility and other City Code requirements.  The application process should start at least 60 days prior to the event with submission of the final application no later than 30 days prior to the event.

Small events of less than 75 people or not open to the public may qualify for a Revocable Permit.  Contact the Community Liaison, 541-322-2976, at least 30 days prior to the event to begin the Revocable Permit process.

Following are the events scheduled for  March/April 2010

March 13, Grin and Bear It Run.  A 5K and 10K walk/run held in and around the Old Mill District.  Family friendly.  Contact; Holly Remer, 383-6357

April 17/18, SpringFest.  Held at Northwest Crossing, some traffic restrictions.  Contact Michelle 389-0995

April 17, Multiple Sclerosis Walk.  In and around the Old Mill, no traffic problems.

April 18, Light of Hope Walk/run.  In and around the Old Mill, no closures.

April 24, Earth Day.  Parade downtown, Bond/Wall closed, festivities at Troy Field, Louisiana between Bond and Lava closed.  Contact Lee Perry 390-3214

April 24, March for Babies.  In and around the Old Mill, no traffic congestion.

April 25, FAN Lollipop Run.  Staging at Senior Center, taking Larkspur trails to Pilot Butte.  Contact Laura 610-7964
