Bend Police Department Traffic Team

 

Mission Statement of the Bend Police Department Traffic Team:

 

To gain motorist compliance of the Oregon Vehicle Code through enforcement and education.

  

The Bend Police Department has 6 Officers assigned to the Traffic Unit:

  • 4 Officers assigned to Motorcycle duty
  • 2 Officers assigned to DUII patrol   

Primary Duties for Motorcycle Officers

            -Enforcement of the Oregon

            Vehicle Code

            -Education

            -Crash Investigation

 

Primary Duties for DUII Officers

            -Detect and arrest impaired

              drivers

            -Enforcement of the Oregon

             Vehicle Code

            -Crash Investigation
