The City advertised and received bids for the Murphy Road project in January and February 2010.  The City awarded the construction contract to the low bidder, Johnny Cat, Inc. from Jacksonville, Oregon.

Following is an overview of the public process and construction timelines associated with the southeast interceptor project:

• Southeast Interceptor – Murphy Road Segment Construction
• Construction ongoing through July: 
  • Murphy Road, from Country Club Drive to Brosterhous Road
  • Country Club Drive
• Construction June through October: 
  • Murphy Road, from Parrell Road to Country Club Drive  
     Construction sequence will proceed in segments west of Country Club road as follows:
       1)  Country Club Drive to Broadmoor Way
       2)  Broadmoor Way to Benham Road
       3)  Benham Road to Tapadera Street
       4)  Tapadera Street to Parrell Road
  • Brosterhous Road, North of Murphy Road 
     Construction sequence will proceed in segments:
       1)  Murphy Road to Goldenrod
       2)  Goldenrod Lane to Snapdragon Lane
       3)  Snapdragon Lane to Button Brush Avenue
       4)  Button Brush Avenue to Songbird Lane
       5)  Songbird Lane to Sun Meadow Way
       6)  Sun Meadow Way to Jacklight Lane

  • Brosterhous Road, South of Murphy Road
